Running a studio shouldn’t take a second full-time job.

Software for Indian studios, gyms and trainers — schedules, bookings, attendance, payments and member progress in one workspace. So the operational mess stops eating your day, and the members you’re quietly losing surface while you can still keep them. Not a marketplace. Not another consumer app.

हिंदी · ಕನ್ನಡ · తెలుగు · தமிழ் — coming with launch

The problem

Every part of your studio lives somewhere else.

Schedules in one app. Payments chased over UPI. Attendance on paper. Class bookings in WhatsApp. A waitlist that’s really just you, remembering who asked. Member complaints you hear about only when someone quits. Every part of your studio lives in a different place — and the only thing holding it together is you.

Whether you run a yoga studio, a strength gym, or a small group-class space, the work is the same: you spend more time operating the place than coaching in it . And the things that quietly lose you members — a no-show no one followed up, a 6 AM class that’s been half-empty for a month, an AC complaint that never reached you — stay invisible until they’ve already cost you. Aro pulls scheduling, attendance, bookings, member communication and progress into one workspace — so the mess stops eating your day, and the warning signs show up while you can still act on them.

How Aro helps

Three things change.

i.

Everything in one workspace.

Scheduling, bookings, attendance, payment tracking and member messaging stop living in six different places. One workspace, one place to look — so running the studio stops being a second full-time job.

ii.

See the losses coming.

The 6 AM class that’s been half-empty for weeks, the member who quietly stopped showing up, the AC complaint that never reached you — Aro surfaces the warning signs while you can still act, not the day someone quits.

iii.

A reason to stay.

Progress your members can see and are proud to share, a studio they feel they belong to, plans that don’t get lost in a chat thread from August. The things that actually keep people coming back.

Two kinds of customers

Built for the studio and the trainer.

For studios & gyms

Studio or gym. 50–200 members.

You need a calendar that handles your recurring 6 AM classes, a waitlist that actually promotes, payments you’re not chasing one by one, and a feed where members see each other showing up — not a “community engagement platform.” Aro runs the operations and shows you who’s slipping before they’re gone.

  • Recurring schedules, waitlists, per-class attendance.
  • Activity feed, member directory, cheer reactions, owner-moderated forum.
  • See who’s thriving and who’s about to drop off — early enough to act.
  • AC too cold? Members rate it. You see the pattern. You fix it.
  • A branded website for your studio — schedule, trainers, location, one tap to join.
For independent trainers

Independent. 10–50 clients.

You don’t need a CRM with 200 fields. You need to remember what each client did Wednesday and what’s changed since March — in 30 seconds per client per session, not three minutes. Free to start, for as long as you’re small.

  • Roster, sessions, plans — one workspace, one place to look.
  • Clients self-log between sessions. You see the gap before it becomes churn.
  • Every milestone is a shareable card with your name on it.

What’s inside

Twelve things we do well.

We picked the smallest set of capabilities that actually does the job — and we picked them ruthlessly for the Indian reality.

01

Progress charts

Attendance streaks, energy, sleep, weight, inches, a photo timeline — whatever your members actually train for. The first metric is the one they care about, whether that’s a calmer breath or a heavier lift — not the one a textbook says they should.

02

Shareable cards

A member hits a goal. One tap, and a clean card lands in their family WhatsApp group — carrying your studio’s name and their coach’s. Every milestone is also your marketing.

03

Recurring classes

Mon / Wed / Fri 6 AM yoga, capacity 12, waitlist on. Aro materialises the schedule. You mark attendance. Waitlisted members get promoted automatically.

04

1:1 booking

Client requests a slot, you confirm. Both get reminders an hour before. No more “did we say 7 or 7:30?” in a WhatsApp thread from last Tuesday.

05

Diet plans, Indian

Meal blocks from Early Morning to Post-Dinner. Quantities in rotis, katoris, fistfuls, glasses. Vegetarian, non-veg, eggetarian, Jain, vegan — tag and go.

06

Family viewers

Up to 3 family members see the chart — nothing else. Aaji watching is a feature. Indian fitness has always been a family decision; we make it visible.

07

Studio community

Activity feed, member directory, cheer reactions, an owner-moderated forum. Built for studios of 50–200, not 50 million.

08

In-studio feedback

After every class, members rate the AC, the lights, the music, the pace. You see the pattern across mornings. The fix lands faster than the next bad review.

09

Vernacular UI

Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi from day one. English is the fallback, not the assumption. We start in the South. Other states get translated as we earn them.

10

Studio branding website

A clean public site for your studio — class schedule, trainer bios, location, and a single tap to join. We host it, you brand it. New leads land in the same workspace as your members.

11

Member analytics

See who’s thriving and who’s slipping. Aro reads usage, attendance and progress to flag a member about to drop off — early enough to act on it. Spot what’s working across your roster and do more of it.

12

Marketing channels

Run your Google, Instagram and other social ad funnels from one place. Track which channel brings members who actually stay — not just clicks. Every new lead lands in the same workspace as your roster.

Pricing

Simple plans. You pay, your members never do.

One subscription for the studio or trainer, billed quarterly or annually. Start free, then add the growth features you need — lead generation, campaigns, WhatsApp and your website — as separate packs.

Frequently asked

Honest answers.

When does Aro launch?

Late 2026 in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Coimbatore first. Other cities follow once we’ve earned the trainers we’ve onboarded.

Is this another fitness app for members?

No. Aro is for the studio and the trainer. Your members use Aro because you use Aro. They never sign up on their own, and they never get pushed into a generic consumer feed.

Do you take a cut of my member payments?

No. Aro doesn’t touch payments at all. Your members pay you the way they pay you today — UPI, cash, whatever. Aro charges the studio or trainer a monthly subscription. That’s it.

What about WhatsApp? Does Aro replace it?

Aro doesn’t fight WhatsApp; you’ll still use it for the things WhatsApp is best at. But progress, plans, schedules and your studio’s community move out of the thread and into a place they can actually live.

I run a yoga studio with 80 members. Is this for me?

Yes — group classes, recurring schedules, waitlists, member community, and in-studio feedback are all built for studios like yours.

What languages?

Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi at launch. English is the default. We’ll add more once we’ve earned them with real users in their states.

Will Aro use AI?

Aro uses smart capabilities throughout — to spot a client about to leave, to surface music your members are requesting, to flag a recurring AC complaint. We won’t call them AI. They’re just things that work.

Is my client data safe?

Aro is built for India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Your clients consent at onboarding, can export their data, and can request deletion. Aro never sells data.

About

A fitness enthusiast, a tech marketer, and a first-time founder.

Aro is being built by Vidya Bidarahalli — entrepreneur and fitness enthusiast, based in Bengaluru.

Years of watching Indian studios and trainers run the whole operation out of their head — schedules, payments, attendance and every member’s progress scattered across WhatsApp threads, paper diaries, and memory — led to one question: what would running a studio look like if everything just lived in one place? Aro is the answer.
